In short, technology took us to a more advanced era where our quality of life improved thanks to innovation, and it reached each of the fundamental pillars of what we define as a modern society: health, food, education, economy, and politics.
At Dapango Technologies, we understand the severity of the current panorama, and we are pleased to see that governments around the world are joining in raising awareness about cybersecurity.
Today, we present you a summary of the proclamation made by the President of the United States, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., on the official website from the White House last Friday, September 29, 2023.

JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.
Digital technologies today touch nearly every aspect of American life — from our classrooms and communities to our economy and national security.
As we celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month, my Administration remains committed to securing the future of cyberspace and unlocking its unlimited potential. I have made cybersecurity a top national security priority since the beginning of my Administration because cyber threats affect every aspect of society, from critical infrastructure to our homes and schools. In May 2021, I issued an Executive Order to modernize the Federal Government’s cyber defenses and set minimum cybersecurity standards for critical infrastructure sectors. We also hosted a Cybersecurity for K-12 Schools Summit in August to provide resources to schools to address ransomware threats. Additionally, we launched the “U.S. Cyber Trust Mark” program to help Americans choose safer smart devices and established security standards for Government-purchased software.
Borders do not limit cyber threats, so we are taking action on the global stage. We established the International Counter-Ransomware Initiative and created new cyber dialogues with allies and partners to enhance our collective cyber defense. We also released a new National Cybersecurity Strategy, allowing us to work with our partners to ensure cyberspace is grounded in democratic values. As we build and produce, we are committed to incorporating cybersecurity measures into everything, including bridges, roads, computer chips, and the electrical grid.
We must ensure that the Internet remains open, accessible, global, interoperable, reliable, and secure, anchored in universal values that respect human rights and fundamental freedoms. As such, I proclaim October 2023 as Cybersecurity Awareness Month and call upon all Americans to recognize and act on the importance of cybersecurity. I urge businesses and institutions to take action to better protect against cyber threats and create new opportunities for American workers to pursue good-paying cyber jobs. Americans can also take immediate action to protect themselves, such as turning on multifactor authentication and updating software on computers and devices. By working together, we can create a brighter digital future.
At Dapango technologies we are committed to actively contributing to shaping a better world for everything, which is why our cybersecurity program adapts to the needs of each company regardless of the size of its operation or its location.
